Areas We Serve
We work around Lake Murray, and it shows in the work
RW Business Solutions is based in Chapin. Not “serving the Southeast from a virtual office” — actually based here, ten minutes from the dam, in the same 29036 as a good number of our clients.
That matters more than it sounds like it should. Marketing advice written for a national audience assumes things that aren’t true here: that your busy season follows the retail calendar, that your customers found you through a search ad, that nobody knows your name yet. Around the lake, a lot of business still moves through a Facebook group, a chamber breakfast, and the neighbor who used you last spring. The job isn’t to replace that. It’s to make sure that when someone new moves into a subdivision off Amicks Ferry Road and searches for what you do, you’re the one they find — and that what they find looks as good as your reputation already is.
Below are the towns we know well enough to write about. Each page covers what marketing actually looks like there: the corridors your customers drive, the seasonality that moves your revenue, and the local listings worth claiming.
Towns with a page of their own
Chapin, SC
Home base. A lake town whose calendar runs from the first warm weekend in April to the Labor Day Festival, and whose customer base changes every time another subdivision opens.
Marketing in ChapinIrmo, SC
Independent businesses competing for attention a mile from Harbison’s national chains, in a town split across two counties and two ZIP codes.
Marketing in IrmoLexington, SC
The county seat, the professional-services cluster around it, and the Sunset Boulevard traffic that quietly decides which side of town people will drive to.
Marketing in LexingtonAnd the rest of the footprint
We take on work throughout the Lake Murray area and the greater Columbia Midlands, including Ballentine, Prosperity, Little Mountain, Newberry, and Gilbert. Those towns don’t have pages yet for a deliberate reason: we’d rather add one when we have something specific and true to say about doing business there than publish eight versions of the same paragraph with the town name swapped out.
If you’re outside that list — Columbia, West Columbia, Cayce, Blythewood, Batesburg-Leesville — get in touch anyway. Most of this work happens over email, shared documents, and a standing video call, and the in-person part is a coffee every so often rather than a weekly requirement. Distance is a conversation, not a rule.
What we do, wherever you are
The service mix doesn’t change by town — the emphasis does. A dock builder in Chapin and an accounting firm in Lexington need the same five capabilities in very different proportions.
- Brand strategy — positioning, identity, and messaging that make you easy to choose.
- Local SEO — Google Business Profile, citations, and reviews so nearby customers find you first.
- Social media — content and community management that keep you visible between searches.
- Content — photography, copy, and email that tell your story and bring customers back.
- AI solutions — practical automation for follow-up, review requests, and after-hours inquiries.
